About the GameThe system of Magnetia is in great peril as an evil villain tears through the galaxy. It’s all down to one robot explorer to save the day – Magbot!

Use Magnetic Force to Attract: Use the power of magnetic attraction to pull yourself towards platforms and across perilous pitfalls.
Use Magnetic Force to Repel: Magbot is too heavy to jump! Luckily you can use the power of magnetic repulsion to boost yourself through the air!

Alright, so the negative reviews about the controls being frustrating or flat out bad are pretty much spot on. The aiming of Magbot's beam is incredibly frustrating for whatever reason, but the mechanics of the game are really well done. I completed the entire first world and while it wasn't incredibly difficult, the controls do hinder the fun of the game. I'm still going to push through and eventually finish all the other levels because I am enjoying the soundtrack, level design and overall look of the game, but yeah, those controls are a pain. I'd still recommend it but this is a rather challenging game right from the outset, so buyer beware if you don't like failing repeatedly because you need to fight with the controls a bit and try to adjust to the difficulty as it scales quickly.

I really enjoyed this game and it was a good level of challenge and reward. All apart from the last boss fight, which is complete BS

A lot of reviews here complain about the difficulty of the game, but as a precision platformer its more or less part of the genre, in the same lane as Celeste or SMB. That being said I never found this game unnecessarily difficult although the final boss is a bit tedious and if you aren't using a controller you'll probably have a significantly worse experience. A fun challenging platformer for people who like that sort of thing. Would recommend.

Great game! I recommend it if you like Super Meat Boy or Sunblaze. The game has a unique difficulty: remembering which of your beams will repel and attract you at any given point. It's like a tongue twister but for your brain.
+ Charming art
+ Slapping music
- Awkward script
- Final boss is the worst part of the game

An extremely unique platformer with no jump button. The magnet mechanics take a while to get your head round but once it clicks it's extremely satisfying. Worth playing for it's uniqueness alone if you're a fan of the genre!

I'm halfway through the game, but I can already say the time I spent *not* playing it, I spent missing out big time. It's an incredibly polished platformer with a twist where instead of jumping you have two magnets that you can use to either attract to certain objects or get repelled from them. This simple concept gets explored throughout the game, and the level design, clean graphics, and fun music all create a thoroughly joyful experience.

Great 2d platformer with a very unique and interesting gimmick. Takes a few more brain cells than your traditional platformer though because of the magnet mechanics, which can be tough for the average platformer player to have to actually use their brain.
