Star Trek: Bridge Crew
Star Trek: Bridge Crew will immerse you in the Star Trek universe. With a new free update, play in either VR or non-VR. Use a controller to take command of the bridge and seamlessly join matches with VR and non-VR players across platforms. Your mission: explore a largely uncharted sector of space known as The Trench, in hopes of locating a suitable new home world for the decimated Vulcan populace. Make strategic decisions and coordinate actions with your crew to complete the mission. In co-op, you can form a crew of four players to serve in the roles of Captain, Helm, Tactical, and Engineer. In addition to a dynamic storyline, the game features an Ongoing Missions mode that procedurally generates missions for countless hours of solo and co-op adventure.

Soooooooooo much potential!
The only thing it's missing is the player base.

Simple, but fun to play! I like to play this with my dad because we used to watch TNG together all the time

Full disclosure: I've hardly watched enough Star Trek to tell a Klingon from a Tribble, but that didn't stop me from having a blast in Star Trek: Bridge Crew. In this game, you get to commandeer a spaceship – and don't worry, you don't have to be a Starfleet aficionado to jump in on the action.
Now, there are more screens and buttons than a spaceship has stars in the galaxy (well, not really, but you get the idea). And you get to interact with all of them, even if you're as clueless about Star Trek as I am. It's like being handed the keys to a spaceship without any formal training – what could possibly go wrong?
So, whether you're a seasoned Trekkie or just a casual space voyager like me, you're in for an interstellar treat. And who knows, by the time you're done, you might just earn an honorary red shirt for your virtual adventures – because, as we all know, those guys have all the fun!

Really a mixed bag on this game. Great concept, executed well, but so many missed opportunities before the developers walked away from the game. Would have loved to have seen Other Federation ships added, the Defiant, Excelsior, Voyager, etc. A PvP mode allowing players to captain Romulan or Klingon ships would have added an entirely new dimension to the game as well. If not PvP then maybe campaigns for both both groups to allow for greater variety. All in all, good game to play with friends, but falls short on variety after a while.

Let me start this review with a quote from my tactical crewmember.
"Can I shoot him?"
This game is probably the best Star Trek-related game I've ever played.
The functions are amazing, especially the role of the Captain.
They've perfected everything in the realm of ship control.
The audio sounds powerful and HD, the phasers sound like actual phasers from the show(s).
Singleplayer is fun, you can command the AI crew through a menu. (I play on vive, it might be different for some people)
Multiplayer is awesome, it's the best on the Next Generation ship. It mirrors the layout of the bridge perfectly.
You don't need DLC for this game, it's fun with or without.
The Old Enterprise ship is complex but fun, and it feels like you were transported straight into the 60s show.
The Aegis ship is very comprehensible and simple, but easy to learn and hard to master.
It's fun to hit the red alert when you're in combat and losing.
The only bad thing is frickin UBISOFT CONNECT. Quest players are at a serious disadvantage with it. You have to have a Ubisoft Connect account, then sign into your Meta Quest account, then if you want to invite people, they have to be friended on your Ubisoft Account, and all the stupid jazz. Ubisoft took this game and shoved the worst app into it. After you deal with that flawed, not-needed, burning garbage, you have a LOT of fun, singleplayer or multiplayer. I played with one friend and had so much fun (We tried to blow up a civilian ship when it asked for help).
Overall, great game, but Ubisoft can go back to it's cardboard home on the side of the road and die.
You should buy it, sale or not (Whatever you want), and you won't regret it.

Super fun. I wish people still played as single player is super hard.
