SKY TOMB
SKY TOMB is an action-packed 2.5D Shoot ’em Up Reverse Bullet Hell Roguelike with retro influences.
This game utilizes a 3D perspective with 2D visuals, wherein you and your ship are posed against immense hordes of bloodthirsty enemies. You are tasked with surviving as long as you can until your ship is destroyed and you start over, unlocking new ships in the process.
That’s because it probably is, but this one is also fast, fun and dirt cheap.
Traditional Space Combat
Inspired by retro classics like Galaga and Asteroids, you steer your ship in zero-G – using your momentum and ship abilities to outmanoeuvre your opponents, equipped with a massive arsenal of missiles, plasma blasters, and many more weapons and modules.
Buildcraft
As you destroy enemies, you choose weapons and modules from a pool of randomly selected upgrades – turning your ship from a rustbucket with wings into a cacophony of destruction. No run is ever the same as you are encouraged to experiment heavily with a myriad possible upgrade options and build paths, as everything scales with everything.
Lateral Progression
As you progress, you will unlock more ships with completely different weaponry – shaking up your runs with build possibilities that fit your style of play.

Beautifully nostalgic and brutally challenging! This is an arcade-styled retro indie early access game that makes me feel like a 90s kid grinding away my game tokens on trying to beat the machine again! Except it cost me far fewer tokens to play this game as much as I have already :D
The devs are clearly having fun with the development and actively trying to make it fun yet not too easy for players.
My suggestions would be perhaps some slower progressions, clean cuts between stages/levels, and a few bosses, but I am sure that and much more is yet to come! I look forward to seeing how it continues to develop.

Addictive and action-packed, this feels like a fresh take on the Vampire Survivors-alike subgenre of games. Unlike others trying to do the same, SKY TOMB has a core hook - the movement mechanic requires you to be present and requires skill from the very beginning, and keeps tensions high right from the start (as opposed to the slow, plodding build-up we are used to from these games). The short 3-10 minuter run lengths encourage retries, and feel like less of an endeavour compared to the 30 min+ runs where you are only in the risk of dying in the last 2-3 minutes.
As for downsides - in its current state, SKY TOMB is PUNISHINGLY hard, and still very unpolished. The game is still in very early access, so I look forward to see what changes the devs have in the pipeline!

Cool game for couple hours. i would kindly ask the developer to give us a shield or something to live!!! not sure what , but something that allows you to survive longer than 2 minutes...
my experience was....came to the realization that at about 2+ minutes into any match...will mark the end of any chance of survival. there are simply too many to deal with and the random chance of abilities marks certain doom.
you might get a lucky set of drops and get healing and damage etc...but still nothing that can stand to the horde sent your way at 2 min mark.
