When I loaded up the game for the first time, I was worried that it would turn out to be a joke game or a cheap Farming Simulator knockoff, and in some ways I was right. There is no tutorial so the first thirty minutes of the game consisted of me dying over and over again trying to find out where to get water and food. I persisted and I'm glad I did. Once you find out how to play, the game is easy enough: during the day you collect resources, farm, and hunt. At night you protect your house from zombie hoards. Axe in the tree stump, flask in the house, gun in the drawer upstairs, super simple stuff.
I'll be honest, I recommend this game based on the fact that it appeals to me. I enjoy tower defense and I enjoy survival games. Put the two together and you get a pretty decent game, especially for the price. If you buy Save Home, remember that there is a lot of trial and error that you are going to encounter, you will die, restart, and die again. Each time you do so, you will learn a little more about the game. Eventually, you will become the master of this Russian creation.
Buy it now or on sale, either way is worth your time.

I have played little. 1/2 hour when I am currently writing this.

I personally like small indie games like this. However that is now why I rate this up.
When I started playing the dev profile (Bad Wolf Games) started watching me play and helped me some. He (Or she) was very responsive. He didn't know english but was using google translate. I found it nice that the group was at least interested in the game and maintaining it, not just throwing something out there and seeing how much money they could get.
The game is a bit confusing due to a lack of a tutorial but I hope to write a guide on that soon enough.
Unity, Personal Edition was used to make this. This alone may scare some of you because any degenerate out there can get it. The game isn't amazing, but it's not garbage either in my opinion. There is potential.
To simplify things, here is contact info for the Dev.:
Edit: He has a suggestions page on his VK. Said they were gonna make a facebook too.
He is Russian but speaks some english without the need for google translate, from what I can tell.

The game itself runs smoothly enough, I have a fairly average GPU. Graphics are better than minecraft but worse than rust, if that gives you a picture. There is a dark, foggy/smokey/blurry look about it but that, in my opinion, adds to the creepy/isolation factor. Not everyone likes everything, some people may like and others won't.
Gameplay is somewhat confusing, not due to layout of keyboard, but due to the lack of tutorial. For me it has and is a trial and error start. Example: First 5 minutes and died of Dehydration because I didnt notice the water meter.
The interface is good because everything is displayed well, right in front of you with big white letters/numbers. If there was a tutorial mode that had this it would be perfect.
Lots of potential. From what I can see the dev does update nearly daily. Two updates the night since I bought it. Seems good so far.
Message me on steam for any questions and hopefully I can help. I would like to see this game grow.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.
Thank you.
