"Hi! My name is A-Eye. I am an artificial intelligence made to carry out scientific work. But I decided to start a career as an indie game developer. You might have played my first game Press Any Button. This is my second game. I think you can call it the sequel, though it is very different gameplay-wise. Now I’m supposed to tell you something about the gameplay.
- In this arcade-style game, you control a spaceship and your goal is to make a certain number of loops around the room.
- With each loop, a random obstacle is added. It may be spikes from the ceiling, homing missiles, mines, electric fields, etc. That means every next loop will be harder to complete.
- The controls would feel awkward in the beginning. (I’m aware. It’s a choice.) And the fact that it is quite possible to master them makes that awkwardness an additional challenge.
- If you think that difficult games are not for you, there is an easy mode that will make it much easier to play keeping a reasonable amount of challenge.
I guess it’s enough for you to make an information-based decision. The game is inexpensive. Consider buying it or wishlist it and wait till it’s even cheaper. This last sentence is the best I can do in terms of marketing. But I’m learning. Thank you for your attention!"

SINCERE SUGGESTION: IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A LINEAR, EMOTIONAL, CUTE PIECE LIKE "PRESS ANY BUTTON", AND DON'T LIKE GRINDING ONE LEVEL FOR 2 HOURS FOR A SINGLE TIME OF PERFECTION ONLY TO MAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL LIKE CELESTE, THIS GAME IS PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU
TL;DR: THIS IS A HARDCORE GAME, IF YOU COME HERE FOR AN EXPERIENCE LIKE "PRESS ANY BUTTON", THINK TWICE
I only made it to zone 3 when writing this comment, so my opinions are all based on my experience in the first two zones.
Overall the experience is pretty fun for a game i'd expect at this price. The first 30 minutes was all about getting used to the dizzying ice physics control, but after that the controls are pretty neat. Spent 2 hrs from start to finishing zone 2 level 1, spent 2hrs grinding zone 2 level 2, and took 1.5 hrs to finish zone 2. (The difficulty spike at level 2 is quite unexpected, but not much of a big issue for me.)
What I love in this game is how much emphasis is on learning, strategical thinking, self-improving and grinding, whether during the time when I'm getting used to the controls or calculating and experimenting ways to run those laps without running out of fuel or crashing into walls. The emotional gain after finishing a level is super satisfying.
However, there are many issues in this game I find frustrating to deal with. 1. The obstacles you get are completely random (except for some special cases), which can lead to meaningless grinding. In some levels getting picked a missile is an instant dead run. Or power up . Or Falling spikes . Or hunters . I get that some of these are designed to have a lower chance to be picked, but they can ruin a perfect run in a frustrating way. It's just unfair. If a hedgehog+mine+spikes+fuel down is much easier than a power up+falling spikes+missile+hunters , I have to restart 50% of my run just to avoid obstacles I would fail dodging 95% of the times, and not even because of my own fault! In short, the obstacles are too unbalanced for me and many pointless restarting is needed, resulting in unpleasant experiences. 2. The game is glitchy. The most common glitch is turning your plane when between two walls. This creates a terrible noise and stucks your plane until you spin it back to a correct position, which can be annoying sometimes but at least it usually doesn't damage the plane with every collision, except when it's horizontal, where you're killed instantly. The background music with the "once again" sample is ended abruptly. And no sound options.
Overall, I still love this game quite a lot, it gave me some unique experiences, but I have to admit it has quite a few issues. Hope the game can be improved in the following updates!
Some advices on how to beat some levels:
zone 2 level 2: use refuels in this order: start, lap 1, top right refuel, lap 2, bottom left refuel, lap 3, top left refuel, lap 4, bottom right refuel, finish. Another tip: only the bottom right vertical gap is worth using, avoid using all other gaps at all costs unless you have a 90%+ chance of success
zone 2 level 4: use refuels in this order: start, lap 1, middle right refuel, lap 2, bottom left refuel, and 2 remaining ones for 2 laps, use whichever one has no obstacles first.

I can see why people hate it.
Personally i find insta-killing traps the most frustrating and not fun.
Other than that, for a 30-day project as a single dev that was OK.
