Key Features
A Sandbox PvP MMORPG
Participate in real-time skirmishes or massive battles, on land and sea, build, defend and conquer empires in the largest seamless, persistent world with no zones, no instances, and no artificial barriers. Forge your legend as a fierce fighter, a cunning politician, a wealthy trader or a master crafter. The possibilities are limitless.
Seamless, Zoneless, Exciting World
Experience the largest and most beautiful handcrafted world of its kind inside a seamless, real-time, and non-instanced environment. Travel through and explore five continents and countless small islands, on foot, mount, by ship or by magical means. Encounter hundreds of monsters equipped with superior AI behavior. Dynamic shadows and visual effects, a realistic day/night cycle, a huge color palette, ambient sounds and music, are pleasing to the senses and provide a uniquely immersive experience. The ability to use the environment to your advantage makes territory knowledge crucial in evading enemies or staging attacks, giving explorers a serious tactical edge.
The Uniqueness and Depth Of Skills and Custom Roles
Forget about levels; using Gnome Online Prowess Point and Feat progression system, you can raise your chosen skills at your own pace while playing the game your way. Skill selection is now entirely player choice. Using the “character build” window, players can select any 9 “school skills”, only one of which can be the “ultimate skill” from any school. All “common skills” are available to all players. Players will be able to activate a total of 16 skills, common and school combined, for any set build.
Combat: Individual Player Skill and Teamwork
Combat is Real-Time, fast paced, with manual aiming and friendly fire. Player skill is important, while teamwork, strategy and tactics make the difference. The stakes are high with the full loot rule in effect and the combination of first person shooter style battles, mounted combat, epic sea battles, and sieges with RPG style strategy, are the recipe for a truly epic, exciting and adrenaline-charged experience.
Create and Conquer Empires
Huge sieges and Clan Wars bring the chaos of massive battles to life. Territory control is exercised by taking over cities and hamlets, capturing nearby villages and defending them against your enemies. Form strong Alliances, experience the politics and diplomacy of war, defend your allies, betray them, be betrayed, and retaliate.
The Importance Of Crafting
From the simplest sword and board to the elusive Dragon Armor, all items in Gnome Online are player created. War and the full loot system, fuel a perpetual need for equipment of all kind, creating a booming economy, making master crafters one of the most sought-after professions for any clan or team.

it has pretty good game play, i am sure it will get better as more content is released for it. my biggest issue as of yet is high level players waiting at the entrances of pvp zone for new players to essentially instant kill when they enter, and the new players lose all of the items in there inventory. Given that players need to enter the area to kill mobs to complete early quests it can make for a lack of player retention among new player.

so much potential it got.

The game is in Early Access, as it should because it is not polished and has alot more content that needs to be added.
That being said - this game has ALOT of promise! Even with the relatively low amount of content, I've stilled put in 12 hrs. I have only done PVE and enjoyed it this far.
There are bugs, and missing content (tied to questing), and missing methods to actually craft Tier 2 or Tier 3 gear. For example the tier 2 wood is present in the game, but the tier 2 harvesting tools does not exist, so you cannot obtain tier 2 wood to actually craft the recipes that drop from mobs.
Looking forward to continued growth in this game. Definitely keep an eye on this game.

- PVP FOCUSED LIL MMO -
Just wanted to get that out there, in testing I don't remember forced PVP so I bought the game, so I was hoping it would be just group focused bossing & grinding -- not sure why indie devs think they can pull off forced PVP. You lose your inventory when you die in those zones, pass from me. I recommend it to anyone who's interested in PVP though.

I was not expecting much but it is a pretty nice game. I judged it by the name and the graphics and thought I would not like it. A friend got it and got me to try it. Been hooked ever since...
The base game reminds me of old school games like UO, the more you do something the better you get at it. So yes there is a bit of a grind to skill up everything.
The PvP is fun but I have barely done much of that so far. Most people are friendly and there are not many playing this right now. Full loot PvP is only in certain areas which of course have the higher tier resources. I like that though cause it gives you a feeling of danger everytime you see someone run pass.
The map is just right for the current population and spawns are good, even feel a bit fast in dungeons. Crafting is fun and not overly complex.
At this time I think they are still working on player/guild housing and more areas to explore. I think adding these will be major improvements. The main complaint I have is space for stuff and having a house would help with this alot. Inventory and bank space is a bit tight. Magic system requires reagents and since you can unlock all skill trees you need alot of space.
Overall it is a fun game with old school vibes and well worth the price.
