Galaxy Cat
Play as Coz the Cosmic Kitten as you travel the solar system reconnecting the universe together.
The ancient guardian of the Milky Way, known as the Galaxy Cat, will sometimes sleep for millennia. During one of their catnaps, a massive meteor tore through a solar system, leaving it in ruins and breaking the bonds that hold the various Sectors together. Upon waking and realizing their mistake, the Galaxy Cat repaired the planets, but they were too large to collect the scattered energy that powered the portals between the Sectors. So, they created the Cosmic Kitten, a being composed of stardust and energy, to travel the solar system and restart the portals.
Play through 50+ single-screen platforming challenges, collecting energy fragments along the way.

Positives: I'd say galaxy cat is one of the better platformers I've played and I've played a lot. The music and art is amazing. The levels are very well designed and intresting to look at. The writting is very solid, there's one part where galaxy cat says "where" instead of were but it's not like that ruins the game lol. It's a linear game so no worries about missing anything.
Negatives: No sound or even options menu at all is a strange choice. The hitboxes for the collectables to finish a level is very tiny. The ending section changes the precident of each screen respawning you at the same screen and the later stages of this section are unreactable imo. This adds a bit of trial and error to what was a 100% skill-based game.
Final Rating: 4/5 Galaxy cat is just fun.

Well-polished and difficult. Great 2D pixel art, clever mechanics introduced at each "world". Many of the levels are superbly designed. Reminds me of AAA titles in the same genre, like VVVVVV and Super Meat Boy. I am only OK at these kinds of games and could not complete all levels (although I always feel like I can see how to get through, my timing's just bad), but "Skip Level" helps mitigate frustration.
Graphics and animations are just cute. (Try the up/down buttons some time.) Distinguishing collectibles in front of certain backgrounds is sometimes a bit tricky but it suits the game's theme and you get used to it quickly enough.

Very well thought out game, and challenging with out being overly difficult. Very addictive; the simple yet compelling game play hooks you in and keeps you playing. Great art work and music never lets you get bored! This game is a winner!
