Full Mojo Rampage
Feeling hexed
Full Mojo Rampage is an action-packed voodoo-themed game that sets out to deliver an exciting experience with its unique premise. While it manages to conjure moments of fun and creativity, it struggles to sustain its charm throughout, resulting in a somewhat mediocre gaming experience.
Gameplay:
The gameplay in Full Mojo Rampage offers a mix of fast-paced action and voodoo-inspired spellcasting, creating some thrilling moments. The variety of spells and upgrades adds a layer of depth, encouraging experimentation and strategizing. However, the controls can feel imprecise at times, leading to occasional frustrations during intense battles. Additionally, the procedural generation of levels keeps the game fresh with each playthrough, but it can also result in uneven difficulty spikes.
Graphics and Art Style:
The game's voodoo-themed art style is visually appealing, with vibrant colours and whimsical character designs. The environment designs effectively capture the mystique of the voodoo world. However, the lack of graphical polish and occasional visual glitches detract from the overall experience.
Audio:
Full Mojo Rampage's soundtrack complements the game's atmosphere with its tribal beats and eerie sounds. However, the limited variety of music tracks can become repetitive over time. Sound effects are adequate, but they lack the impact needed to truly immerse players in the voodoo realm.
Replay Value:
The game's rogue-like elements, such as random level generation and unlockable items, provide some replay value. The desire to experiment with different character builds and strategies can keep players engaged for a while. However, the repetitive nature of the gameplay and lack of substantial content might lead some players to lose interest after a few playthroughs.
Multiplayer:
Full Mojo Rampage offers multiplayer co-op, which can be enjoyable when playing with friends. However, the matchmaking process can be sluggish, and the community might be limited, leading to difficulties in finding others to play with.
Overall, Full Mojo Rampage presents an intriguing concept with its voodoo-themed action gameplay. It manages to deliver some enjoyable moments, especially when experimenting with various spells and strategies. However, the lack of precision in controls, repetitive audio, and occasional graphical glitches hold it back from achieving its full potential. For fans of rogue-like games and voodoo themes, it might be worth exploring, but others might find it falling short of creating a truly captivating and long-lasting gaming experience.

Firstly, it's set in a Voodoo Universe, where you can earn different masks, each with its own ups and downs. There are various stages, medallions with different effects, and Voodoo cards. You have co-op mode, daily stats; You can level up through quest mode or the 'masochistic' hardcore mode. What else do you need? There are achievements, you have your "Mojo" library, and you can finish the level as soon as the door is open or use shops to acquire better equipment. You can use medallions in-game, obtain chests, and then finish the game with better gear for the next round. There are level bosses, fiends, exploding enemies, running enemies and stationary enemies, all within a game with graphics that aren't too bad!
Just go and play this great Dungeon Crawler =))
