So far I love this game. I have played it on the Atari VCS and the PC. Danger Scavenger is a twin stick shooter. Move your character around, dodge the incoming fire and PvE damage, and take out the enemies. If you have ever played Yars, Black Widow, and other twin stick shooter you will be right at home among the carnage.
The graphics are very nice, sort of remind me of the game The Descent.
Sound and music are very suitable to this game.
Highly recommended, especially if you can get it around $5.

I'm amazed I've never heard of this game, it's now one of my favourites!
Danger Scavenger is a roguelite dungeon crawler in a cyberpunk setting, with plenty of enemies, weapons, upgrades, etc. Each run unlocks new weapons whilst also letting you keep some of your equipment. I particularly liked how flexible the combat was, with my initial choice of shotgun being easily replaceable later on when a revolver proved far more useful.
At specific points in your run, you'll have a chance to make a very tempting risk vs reward gamble. If you accept a debuff, you'll be given a specific item. Some of these deals are much more reasonable than others, with the very best rewards requiring crazy risks like "Any damage kills you"!
The gameplay is very, very smooth, with the ability to peek at where enemies are and get shots in, or risk trying to use environmental weapons like explosive barrels. There's also multiple characters with their own specialities, and I'm very, very interested in how the gameplay differs between characters.
I'll absolutely be playing more of this, I'm very interested in what unlocks later on!

Very fun couch co-op for the 1.49 I payed for it, I think it's definitely worth the 9.99 full price

Really fun shoot `em up with smooth controls and decent graphics. Wish it was longer.

Is it repetitive? Yes. But you also mow down enemies w/ various upgrades and over-powered equipment. I think the weak link here may be the level design, w/ all the choke-points and bottlenecks, despite the explained high-rise story. There is also a bit of under-explaining of mechanics and a little bit of too-much-too-fast in terms of menus; I'm not sure crafting was ever explained. I have yet to play it co-op, but I may return to play for a few more hours, but probably no more, just too repetitive. When it's around $2, it may be worth your money, but is it worth your time? I'll leave that for you to decide.
