About the GameBuilders of Egypt: Prologue is an economic type of city-building taking place in the valley of the Nile. The story starts in a little-known protodynastic period in which you will be able to observe the birth of the Old Egypt and finished with the death of Cleopatra VII.
The most important aspect is the skillful management of urban planning by shaping the grid of streets, placing buildings and their mutual relation. Well-designed city will greatly improve economic efficiency which may convert into city income.
Diplomacy and politics:
The governor will face very difficult choices to be made in a constantly changing political environment. Costly expeditions, Pharaoh and other cities requests, military threat and a mixture of different cultures will be a commonplace. A series of wrong choices can cost the loss of trading partners and low interest in the city by settlers. Moreover, the total lack of obedience to the rulers may end up with a civil war.
Religion:
Deity will be able to interfere with daily life but it will be done implicitly. The main aspect of religion will be satisfying the need for access to the places of worship, providing supplies for temples or organizing festivals. Neglecting this sphere may result in a dangerous social unrest on a par with e.g. famine.
Trade:
Trade is the most important element in royal treasury. Without it, it is very difficult for economic stability built solely on taxes. Therefore, in the interest of the player, producing goods for export at prices that will be able to change dynamically depending on the geopolitical situation, will be required.

I have now finished the first Sandbox map successfully. It had a little bit of a learning curve as to how to actually sell something. It took me a few tries but I got it in the end. This game shows alot of promise as a city builder. I do wish the Sandbox maps were not restricted in the products available on each map. I love the city building and designing aspect of the game but I find that if you build to beautify and design your city then the game essentially punishes you for it because I had to sell all my decorations to complete the mission. Definately going to keep playing this game to see as it further develops where it goes from here. Next update I will play in Campaign mode and see where that leads me.

love the pace of the game and the realism in seasons. The difficulty was also nice and, if desired, challenging.

I have been waiting a long time for city building games like this. I definitely like the graphics and details. Looks are very appealing. Mechanics seem good so far. I do however feel each scenario's intro narration is a bit time consuming. Id rather read all of that in a history tab instead. Also for some reason when a house levels up to 3 some of them start facing another direction and that turns me off. As a perfectionist this bother is me a great deal. Another small issue is that for some reason when you want to place a wheat farm it rotates once clockwise. Very weird and annoying. When playing the first scenario, there is an issue collecting pottery because they put all of it in the bazaar. To remedy this, you can turn off collecting a certain ware, but you kinda have to figure that out on your own. It would've been nice if that detail was included in the tutorial. Than I thought, why would the bazaar start hoarding a ware when there is no demand for it, i.e, none of the houses were collecting the pottery. No real big deal but something I considered. Citizen interaction is cool, like looking for somebody's significant other, but I can't for the life of me find the hidden treasure, not ever. Not sure if that's a bug or unfinished objective, or if there is something more i have to do. And it would be nice if there was an unemployment tab to show which houses specifically have available workers instead of clicking each one and even better if it showed which jobs need said workers. All in all I'm very impressed, and very grateful, and I hope for the best!
Another issue i noticed with this game is that if you choose Hard difficulty and save the game, quit game, relaunch, and load said game, the difficulty reverts to normal. So to complete a mission on Hard difficulty, as I did with the first scenario, I would play it all the way through and making sure not to quit the game or turning off the computer. Well now I'm on the second scenario and I'm finding this impossible to do because the game has crashed twice now, and right around after trading all of my resources each time! (600 treasure, 600 turquoise, 900 copper, 1100 meat)
Some bugs to point out:
1. For some reason when you load a saved game, time progresses even when game is paused. In the panel it shows the game is in fact paused, and people aren't moving, but the months advance anyway. The same thing also goes for a wildlife. Also, it seems when you load the game and if you notice it will show the correct month but however its emblem will be wrong and I will explain: It well show "Shemu" but display Akhet's emblem instead. When the month switched to Akhet, the emblem switched back to Shemu's emblem and the very next second you can see change yet again back to Akhet's. Which would now be correct but a rather small defect I thought to point out. Also if you save the game with the Architect's Post turned off, it will be on if you load the game after.
2. Boulders swaying as if they were trees. Reloading saved game fixed this.
3. I lost people because they were upset about their reduced wages, which is fine, however, when I raised their wages and they came back, the population display didn't account for them. Yet "subconsciously" the game recognized that I had the correct amount meaning for example: I was supposed to have 154, but the display showed 134. I also had a -19 workforce, which is totally silly. Reloading saved game fixed this as well.
4. In the Finances section I noticed Wheat Farms was missing from the display showing you which buildings are costing you in labor. And the amount of labor cost was inaccurate either way when adding the shown amounts and again when adding the missing figure. Had no idea where the game was getting that amount.
5. The large statue, the sphinx, displays as costing 650 but deducts 2250. Erasing it will only give back 650!
I finally found that damn treasure!
