Barbarian Souls drew inspiration from the combat system of Dark Souls. To survive, you must fight, defend yourself, or avoid enemy blows. You are armed only with your sword (to beat your enemies) and your shield (to block attacks). Be careful not to get injured too badly—you don’t have time or potions to heal your wounds. Approach enemies with caution or they will kill you easily.
This is an action game that you must fight to survive, defend or avoid enemy blows and attack at the right time.
In this game, you must defend and evade to be able to successfully complete your missions. If you don’t use your shield to defend OR your legs to avoid enemy attacks, you will be no match for your enemies.
Travel through the land to face and defeat the barbarians, encountering different environments, forests, deserts, mountains, castles, villages, and much more.

Key Features
– Easy to play (attack, defend or evade)
Game commands are very simple (Left Mouse Button to attack, Right Mouse Button to defend, more instructions provided in the game)
– Moderate difficulty
It’s not the type of game that you finish quickly.
– Simple missions
Find and kill all enemies to proceed. If you have difficulty finding all enemies, press ‘V’ to use the tracker option, which will allow you to find enemies easily.
– One-on-one combat
Press ‘TAB’ when you find an enemy to make the game combat more dynamic. Fight with a focus on your enemy to make it easier to attack or defend.
– Strategic combat
Don’t just attack without thought. Some enemies will inflict heavy damage on you if you attack without a strategy, some enemies will open their guard for
several seconds, while others need to be attacked after they miss an attack on you.
– Beautiful scenarios with great graphics
Travel through the diverse scenery during different times of day and weather, like a rainstorm near a great castle.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. I wish the dev would have charged more than $14.99! I would have happily paid up to $70 for this game. Barbarian Soul's beutiful scenery will go down in history. The graphics in this game could go head to head with mainstream games like The Last of Us and Cyberpunk 2077 and I 100% believe it could win. I was absolutely DUMBFOUNDED when this game wasn't nominated for GOTY 2019. The gameplay mechanics are on par with souls like games such as Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls 2 Remastered, and Crash Bandicoot. The ambient sounds like the rain and thunder are so beautiful that I could listen to them to fall asleep. I wish steam would allow me to buy multiple copies of this game so i could have a steam library FULL with Barbarian Souls. I love this game so much and would recommend it to anyone and I mean ANYONE that loves story driven and absolutely beautiful games!

Possibly the greatest game I have ever played.
The graphics are comparable to that of ubisoft or nintendo and the sound design is exsquisite.
If asked to choose my favourite feature of the game, it would be the animation and the incredible level design.
