Adam's Venture: Origins embarks players on a journey through the 1920s, blending historical intrigue with challenging puzzles. The game successfully immerses players in an era of forgotten relics and architectural wonders. The puzzles are a standout feature, demanding a mix of logical thinking and keen observation. However, technical hiccups and occasionally awkward voice acting hinder the overall experience.
In contrast, Adam's Venture: Chronicles, the predecessor, refines many of the elements found in Origins. The voice acting and dialogue are notably more polished, enhancing the immersion in the story. The platforming mechanics also feel smoother and more responsive, alleviating some of the frustrations experienced in Origins. The puzzles remain engaging and are complemented by a more balanced pacing.
While both games share a penchant for historical storytelling and intricate puzzles, Chronicles edges ahead with its tighter execution and smoother gameplay mechanics. Origins, though promising, could benefit from further refinement in these areas. Ultimately, both entries offer enjoyable experiences for fans of historical adventure games, but Chronicles stands out as the more refined choice.

Adam's Venture: Origins, A grate short game playing as Adam who is being helped by Evelyn, they solve puzzles, finds artefacts/relics and explores ancient ruins together. Fun little game that can be completed pretty quickly, if you have a few hours.
(Though due to how short the game is i recommend waiting for a sale, the price is a bit to high for the length)

I got this game from my girlfriend altough I expected a lot from this game due to screenshots all I got was some platforming, stealth but also puzzles and I don't like puzzles in games, so what I did was playing this with a tutorial.
Some of those puzzles aren't that bad but some of them are nightmare like 4 disks.
When It comes to platforming since the protagonist doesn't take any fall damage some ledders which want you to climb down to some section of the game loose their purpose cause you can just fall down and nothing happens to you.
When It comes to storytelling I think It has some nice story with some plot twist I guess. The characters are funny but the dubbing that this game offers is something I would expect from a game made somewhere in EU.
Despite that I don't like puzzles I enjoyed this game.
