Great cult classic game, would highly recommend it to others whom like me, grew up with it or are just in general looking for a great old school multiplayer combat sim. 10/10. Great memories.

This game do NOT provide 150 player slot servers anymore. Haven't done so for many years now.
Otherwise it's a fps game like no other, soon played it for 20 years. It's so simple to getting started for a newcomer, you don't have to learn 8493465985 button combinations as in today's games. It's fast for those who wants to attack, if you're more of a defensive player you can camp or be ready to strike back for that.

This game is a testament to how utterly outstanding Novalogic was at producing games that were fun but unfortunately well ahead of their time.
From the little details like having to wait for your rotors to spin up in a chopper to getting lighter as you fired more of your ammo, it's a goddamn masterpiece. While the single player experience is lacking a bit since all the maps were made for large scale combat with dozens of players, it's still a great ride to mess around with different vehicles with fairly realistic combat in jungle and bullet ballistics.
This game is everything the modern player wants in a shooter for a mild $20 and just under 2Gb. Tons of weapons, vehicles, tactics, classes, and routes to use on your mission to destroy rebels in Indonesia. Couple that with a shit load of mods available for free, you can enjoy the game in an infinite number of ways (don't tell Neil DeGrasse Tyson I said that). It's so much fun.
This absolute banger should not go overlooked. $20 is a low bar of entry but at a discount it's a steal.

I played this game when I was a little kid. Absolutely mind blowing for it's time in my opinion. Better than BF 1942 and some attributes even better than BF2. The 150 man servers were insanity. I saw some modded ones going up to 250. All of this on a game engine from 2004!

I can't believe this game still works on my PC and there are still players out there. Not a lot, but still there! Played it again in Sept. 2024 after having not played it since 2014! Lol!
I had forgotten how much I enjoy it - the physics and graphics are terrible by todays standards, but still very playable.
I had a blast and coming back for more. Gamivo.com has a code for this so if you are interested but don't want to pay the ridiculously high price here on Steam for a game of this age, pay $6-ish dollars instead and have some old-school 90's fun!
Sad that this game was never continued. It was way ahead of it's time back in the day.

Donkey Kong... Crash Bandicoot... Joint Ops... Legends of their time that never lose their appeal. Custom maps were where it was at. Shame the IC mod isn't in Steam.
